The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 2011 in the Institute of Engineering & Computing Sciences (IECS), University of Science & Technology Bannu. In the year 2015, the University bodies decomposed IECS and created separate faculty "Faculty of Engineering" which comprises Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Software Engineering, which are currently located in the newly constructed Engineering Block at the Main Campus of the University.
The Department offers academic program, designed to build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering along with specialized courses to cover the breadth of the ever expanding realm of Electrical Engineering. The department aims to develop abilities in the students for the application of necessary mathematical tools, scientific basics and fundamental knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
