The University of Science & Technology, Bannu (UST Bannu) and the University of Peshawar have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic excellence, collaborative research, and professional development in the region.
Under this MoU, both universities have agreed to:
Promote academic and research collaborations across multiple disciplines.
Facilitate the exchange of students, faculty, and staff for teaching and research activities.
Share research spaces, laboratories, and facilities for joint projects.
Support supervision and co-supervision of PhD scholars’ research.
Organize mutual conferences, workshops, training sessions, and seminars.
Provide free-of-cost space by the University of Peshawar for official meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Facilitate training of UST Bannu faculty and staff to build capacity and enhance institutional performance.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chancellors of both universities emphasized that this collaboration will strengthen higher education, foster innovation, and provide meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers. They highlighted that this partnership reflects a shared commitment to knowledge creation and sustainable development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond.
